India generates hundreds of millions of tonnes of agricultural residue every year, and much of it is underutilized or openly burned, leading to air pollution and lost economic value.
BioWeave converts bamboo fibre, rice husk, paddy residue and other natural fibres into engineered boards, green packaging and sustainable construction materials.
Northeast India, especially Assam, has abundant bamboo and agricultural residues along with emerging infrastructure and access to regional and cross-border markets.
By using waste biomass, BioWeave aims to reduce open burning, create rural supply chains and generate income for farmers, women SHGs and rural youth.
